I'm doing it. Ms L is doing it. These girls are all doing it.
Crochet that is.
Everyone, everywhere seems to be crocheting.
I'm making good progress with my Mum's birthday present. These 4 squares below are the basis of the blanket I'm making.
Ms L has a stack of granny squares she's crocheted together ready to finish off.
Over at Flickr hundreds of people are doing it. Below is one of my favourite finds in the Flickr group.

Oh yes, crochet, more addictive than chocolate! Your squares are looking brilliant.
Your Mum is going to love it! I especially like the square on the bottom right. Haven't crocheted for years but should get back into it!
your squares look great! is it hard to crotchet?
Am I the only one who has had 2 lessons and still can't crochet?
Maybe the next Thornbury sewing bonanza could include a crochet lesson too!
Your squares for your mum's blanket look brilliant! I haven't ventured further than the plain granny square. Can't wait to see it finished!
Yep! I'm doing it too!! Youe squares are lovely-love the patterns you have chosen and the great colour combination.
I'm not doing it! obviously not talented enough to know how to crochet :P but your squares are lovely! I love the patterns and the colours.
I'm not doing it but I love that you're doing different styles for your squares but sticking to the same colour theme. I can't wait to see it when it's finished!
Hi there
Thanks for dropping my blog. Well I WAS doing it but it kind of tailed off, my mum started to teach me at my ripe old age in January, by March my crochet lay untouched. I think when the cold dark nights return, I'll be doing it again ;)
Twiggy
im doing it - onto my third scarf for the season...i find it so much easier than knitting!
I'm scared to do it, incase I become addicted!
I'm almost tempted, but fear another craft addiction. I'm a Thornbury gal, too, so it's all sounding a bit to easy if there's a crotchet meeting close to home.
Your squares look lovely - I adore the colours you have chosen!
So jealous! I want to do it, but can't get my left handed head around how on earth to do anymore than single chain.
I love the colours you have chosen for your Mum's pressie.
