BLOGTOBERFEST - Day 13 - Winners Are Grinners

I hope Monday is treating you well. Let's get straight to the important business of the day. The random number generator and Blog hij
acker, Ms L, has picked a winner. Comment number 18, Two Pink Possums.

Congrats Linda. Shoot me an email at cathkirwan(at)optusnet(dot)com(dot)au with your address so I can shoot you your prize.

Now, there's no need to be sad about missing out. There's a few awards to hand around the place to. Don't forget to give out awards to anyone you think is displaying lots of festival spirit.

I think that a very special award has to go to Bellgirl - the festival reporter with the mostest. Have you been over and checked out her Blog Crawls? She's been getting all over the place keeping up with all the news and latest events. She's also providing some great opportunities to expand your German vocabulary.

Curlypops continues to be a star and definitely gets a spirit award. If you're looking for a giveaway well drop by her place because she's got them all listed on her blog.

My other two awards are for
A Rosy Outlook who's been busy setting goals and Belle Enchanted who's blog I'm really enjoying discovering as part of Blogtoberfest.

The lovely
Bowerbirdz gave me an award which is so very kind. Thank you.

If you like vintage buttons (who doesn't) then you should go and sign up for her giveaway.

I'm practicing mindfulness this week. Trying to focus on doing one thing at a time and being present in the moment. It's a stark contrast to last week where I constantly had 10 things on the go at once, couldn't concentrate on any of them, finished hardly anything and stressed myself almost to the point of being unwell. Craziness. So this week I'm practising mindfulness, and a little bit of prioritising. Wish me luck!

ooh. Mr Tacc. and I just had that chat in the garden about priorities. Can you bottle up some of your mindfulness and send it my way? (Just kidding, I'll manufacture some of my own, eventually).

I hope I can take a leaf out of your book about the mindfulness. I'm always drifting off thinking of the next thing. Being present in the moment certainly requires some discipline.

PS. Hooray for Day 13 of Blogtoberfest. I'm loving this!

I try to practice mindfulness and living in the moment every day. Most days, I have to take myself aside and remind me that I am thinking too far ahead and need to pull back into the present moment. I am enjoying blogtoberfest! This was a good way to meet new bloggers and to stretch myself a little.
